Hassan Moustafa Hassan Reda (a.k.a. Hassan Reda) is a film director, actor and film editor (Narrative & Documentary films) and a former cartoonist and a graphic designer. In 2011 he started his film making career, and since then he edited and directed several short documentaries and short narrative films that participated in many different national and international film festivals inside Egypt and abroad, and most of those short films have won several awards.
He's a bachelor graduate from faculty of commerce, Cairo University (2006), and a diploma graduate from the Cartoon institute, Nottingham University, London, UK (2006). He is also the grandson of the late Egyptian film director, Hassan Reda.
Through the journey of his career he studied in a film making workshop in 2014 at Calibre Academy Film School in Cairo, Egypt. And was lectured there by the iconic Egyptian director Aly Badrakhan so that he can improve his knowledge and skills in the film making field. Also he learned more about the field of acting, especially acting in front of camera. He developed his acting skills through the past years and his passion has got stronger for it along with his passion for film making.
He has become an active member in the Egyptian cinema syndicate since 2017. And since 2020, he has become the founder and executive manager of Legacy Media Zone.
